Clash of the Titles Turns Four and Celebrates with Amazing Giveaways!

...

Happy Birthday,
Clash of the Titles!

Can you believe Clash of the Titles is FOUR years old?
It hardly seems possible.

Four years ago this month, COTT's arena opened for its first Clash, and it's been going strong ever since! Hundreds of Christian authors have competed, and 58 have left victorious. Each author has earned a special place in our hearts, and we at COTT find it an immense privilege to promote Christ through their work.

Join us this week as both COTT champs and COTT staff celebrate these four, amazing years together!

Over the next four days, our generous champions will be giving away 61 of their books.

Sixty-one!

We've divided those books into four giveaways--one for each year God has blessed us!
(See below for today's list.)

Each participant has myriad opportunities to enter the four drawings,
but there will only be FOUR WINNERS.
Will you be one of them??

Find out at Clash of the Titles on Tuesday, September 23rd!

Drawings will be open until Monday night,
September 22 (midnight PST).

Until then, it's free rein on entries.
Don't miss out on the fun!

Below, you'll find the four links, one for each giveaway.
See the Rafflecopter at the end of each article for your entry options.

Social Media Monday

It's a short post today, folks. I'm conducting STAR testing here at the Massaro Academy, and I also have a bit of summer-brain sneaking up on me. But I am thrilled with my editing progress and thankful for all of you who continue to encourage me every day. You are my peeps! So thank you April, Jessica, Casey, Pepper, Carol, Katie, Lisa, and all the rest of you out there. =)

My social media adventure began just over one year ago with the creation of this blog. I didn't know what I was doing (I can't claim expertise even now) but that didn't stop me from jumping in. In the past year, I've met so very many wonderful people, many of whom you have gotten to know in recent months through this Monday feature. My journey has included tremendous growth in my writing skills, becoming close with friends I've never set eyes on in person, having articles published, joining CWG and ACFW, and becoming Assistant Editor for Clash of the Titles. It's been an amazing year!

To celebrate, I ran a thirty-day drawing for a $10 Amazon Gift Card. And today I am tickled to announce the winner.

Whatevah Wednesday: Childhood Attempts

Liz Curtis Higgs mentioned at the Writing For the Soul conference in February that she'd had dozens of notebooks filled with stories when she was a little girl. I've heard similar remarks from many of my writer friends. Somewhere along the way those dreams may get pushed aside and forgotten for many. It did for me. Until I rediscovered a passion for storytelling. I too wrote a story when I was young. It never got finished (much the way I feel about my current WIP, lol). It's typed out on small sheets of paper (book-size, you know), and I committed about a dozen cliches and no-no's. But ya know what? I was pretty good! If I say so myself.

So today I decided to show you Page One. Hope my crit partners still want me after reading this! (p.s. I'd forgotten all about this story when I named my daughter Amy. Imagine my surprise and delight when I found this years later.)

What about you? Tell me about one of your earliest stories.

I love seeing my besties drop by and I love making new friends. If you are usually a lurker, I want to meet you! For the next 28 days, when you comment on any post on my blog, you will be entered into a drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card. If you mention me and link back here on your own blog, you'll be entered a second time. Have a great week!
